About the Author
Eugene “Gene” Danyo was born in Pennsylvania and became a career Naval Officer, working primarily as an air traffic controller. His 20 years in the Navy took him around the world and then finally to Lakehurst in New Jersey, where he retired with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. Following his retirement, he and his family elected to continue to live nearby. His family includes his wife Kae, five sons, and fourteen grandchildren. Now in his mid-seventies, he continues to be active and work fulltime as a transport dispatcher.
